My Sister-In-Law's Birthday

I have two adorable sister-in-laws. Both of them are the sweetest, cutest girls and so wonderful for my brothers. One of them had her 50th birthday last week. She also happens to lead my Creative Homemakers group. Last week we had so much fun celebrating her birthday.

We all wore blonde wigs, aprons, and pearls and marched up to her door for our meeting with pink and green balloons, pink gerber daisies, and a pink and green birthday cake. We surprised her and she loved it. For her gift we compiled a list of fifty things we love about her and framed it. It was such a fun night!!

We bought this cake at Society Bakery. If you live in Dallas you have to go check it out; it's at Greenville and McCommas. Their cupcakes are the best and less expensive that Sprinkles!!!

What fun! I love your outfits and that cake. I LOVE Society! Have you tried their cinnamon rolls? They are the BEST. You should pick some up on a Friday afternoon and give your boys a treat for breakfast on Saturday. They are simply divine!

Okay, this makes me even sadder that I don't still live in Dallas!! I LOVE how creative you are!!!!!! What a precious idea!!! I love the wigs & 50s aprons, etc. Too cute and the framed 50 things you love about her!! You are so thoughtful & creative!

We celebrated a friend's 50th (she is 13 yrs older than me) on Sat & we all wore black b/c the birthday girl only wears black! It was funny. She loves really dirty martinis (lots of olive juice) so we gave her a vase of flowers w/ olives on the bottom! I wish I had had your idea before last week!!!
